Evaluation
This class has been very productive for me. I have learned many words through vocabulary and how to use such words. I have also learned how to critically read a story and deconstruct what the author is trying to get across in their story. I am currently trying to get the right way to critically write a paper and discuss everything needed to have a truly academic paper.

The Fall of the House of Usher
While reading this I found that it is in third person point of view and the setting is a dreary old house that belongs to the friend of the unnamed narrator. I think the fact that this story takes place in a creepy house gives it more intencity. Because of the houses effect on the story I think it is a very essencial part, without it the story would just get weird.

Presentation in Class
I really liked the way that we split up into groups and further dug into the stories to pull out reasons for how the authors wrote the way they did. I thought it was very helpful to see different view on the story and combine them with my own. I found it especially helpful using the vocabulary words in the presentation so then it helped me better understand how to use them and what they mean.

Discussion in class
I think that the discussion in class was very productive. It was kind of neat to see how even thought the races of Twyla and Roberta were never confirmed people made judgements about them. I also thought that it was interesting that we got to look into our own racism. I would say that I am not very racist but I do have strong feelings toward different ethnic people because of the things that I have personally seen in my life. I do not hold things against people because they are a certain race, but the weird thing is that a very high percentage of the time most of the stereotypes about certain races are true. Yes, there is always those who are exceptions to this but there is usually a majority that confirms the stereotypes.

Fake Twitter
After reading all of these fake Twitter accounts it really got me thinking. It got me thinking that these people have nothing to do with their time!!! It kind of ticks me off because I don't have time to do everything that I need to get done in a day and they have time to think up of random stuff to say about someone who their not.

metamorphesis
After reading this book for a second time I came to realize that it is not a completely worthless book. I believe that there is a lot of symbolism in this book and I don't quite grasp it all. I did look at the book in an entirely different perspective, I imagined that Gregor never actually turned into a bug and that he was human the whole time. It gave this book quite an interesting twist.
